HOW QUICKLY a foreign environment becomes a home. One day you stand asking yourself why you traveled to such a desolate, lonely place, the next you are sharing a fire's warmth with your lazy-eyed British neighbor; your friends; new and old. The three weeks I spent in the desert were fun, amazing, and I wish I could stay longer.
