More Arco

Here we are again, in Arco, Italy:  Home of the best mountain biking, climbing, skiing, and fun Italy has to offer.  we have been here a few days now and have been climbing a ton.  Fortunately, I finally have some climbing pictures!  Though unfortunately, they are just of random Italians and not of anyone I know.  It has been hard to manage a proper belay and take beautiful climbing pictures...taking pictures of random people has been the only compromise.  On Sunday we visited the beautiful Nago crag in Arco, with our new friends Erik(c) and Emily, who are from Montana.  It was fun to hang out with some Yanks (Though, Emily is technically from Germany) and enjoy the good rock Nago has to offer.  Afterwards we made our way to the local boulders for some "bouldering."  Apparently here they just bolt sport routes up the highball rocks and in that sense, its pretty nice to leave the pads at home.  I am currently working a 40 foot long 7c (12d or V7) on toprope and will hopefully finish and be forced to lead (climb using the bolts) before we leave here.  Tomorrow we are heading to Venice to gain some culture.  Until then, enjoy these photos of climbing.  Thomas:  Be jealous.  I hope your heal gets better soon.

This is a picture of El Chorro.  Which is probably the Yosemite Valley equivalent in Spain, with better weather (85 degrees in February??? What?).
